What do you know, R&R approved the switch. :)

So I’ve boxed up the old website, which can still be viewed, but it will no longer be interact-able. (that is, you can still navigate it, but won’t be able to make requests or leave comments — no one ever did anyway.) That’s here: http://metaminstrel.net/archived/ramenandrice/.

This Tumblr has taken over the old website URL (http://ramenandrice.metaminstrel.net), but ramenandrice.tumblr.com works just as well. Hopefully this will sufficiently serve us well in any capacity that we need!

Due to my inability to go to sleep at a reasonable hour, I have now filled this Tumblr with a disturbing amount of YouTube videos to Ramen and Rice content. Some of it is old, but the vast majority is from AnimeFest 2009… apparently a lot of the otaku going there had video cameras and thought R&R worthy of their memory stick space. ;x

So now this is coming together a little. I still have no idea whether or not this is a good idea or if maybe R&R is going to kill me for collecting all these videos of them (XD), so maybe now is a good time to go to bed… >_>

Getting with the times

After a little consideration, I decided we’d try something new with the Ramen and Rice website. The old site doesn’t really serve much of a purpose other than satisfying those who ask “do you have a website”. And truth be told, the duo is too busy with “real” life to handle much R&R business anymore.

Not to mention, they were never very good about actually telling me — their loyal best friend and website-maintenance-person — about what con they were headed to next, if any. qq.

So this Tumblr is basically for Ramen and Rice “sightings”, if you will. Yes, they’re like wild Pokemon now. We’ll be trying this with public submission is on, so if you’ve seen R&R… feel free to mention it.
